The Varsity Blues men’s rugby team fell 71-0 to the Queen’s Gaels on Saturday, September 10 at Tindall Field in Kingston, Ont.

Dan Moor led all players with 19 points, coming off one try and seven conversions on the day. The Gaels finished with 11 different scorers amassing 11 tries and eight conversions for their 71 total points.

Dylan McTavish of Mississauga, Ont. scored two tries in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to the field next Sunday, September 18 when they host the Laurier Golden Hawks in their 2011 home opener at Varsity Centre. Game time is set for 5:15 p.m.
