The Varsity Blues women’s tennis team defeated the Waterloo Warriors 5-2 on Sunday, October 2 at Scarborough Campus.

Yoko Pye and Sandra Dedsko paired up to win their doubles match in the number two spot; however, Waterloo took the other two matches to earn a single doubles point on the day.

The Blues went on to win 5-of-6 singles matches in spots one through five, with Waterloo taking the number six point.

The Varsity Blues return to action next weekend (Oct. 7-9) when they head to London, Ont., for the OUA individual championships
