The Varsity Blues men’s tennis team came away with a narrow 4-3 victory over the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday, October 2 at Scarborough Campus.
Daniel Rozin and Farhaad Virjee won the Blues lone doubles match in the number two position. Waterloo took the number one and three games to earn a lone doubles point.
Eren Turkmenler won a three-set match in the number two singles spot, and Farhaad Virjee, Matthew Armstrong and Mohamed Helmi won their respective singles matches in the fourth, fifth and sixth positions.
The Varsity Blues return to action next weekend (Oct. 7-9) when they head to London, Ont., for the OUA individual championships.
