The Varsity Blues men’s rugby team fell 53-7 to the RMC Paladins on Saturday, October 1 in Kingston, Ont.

Second-year Blues player Nicholas Smith of Mississauga, Ont., led the Blues with a try and conversion, scoring all of Toronto’s seven points.

RMC was led by Justin Sim (Abbotsford, BC.) and veteran Benjamin Apedaile (Calgary), who tallied 10 points apiece to lead the Paldins to victory.  

The Varsity Blues return to action on Friday, October 7 when they host the McMaster Marauders at the Varsity Stadium. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
