MEN’S RUGBY CLOSES OUT 2011 WITH LOSS TO MUSTANGS

The Varsity Blues men’s rugby team fell 96-7 to the Western Mustangs in their last game of the season on Saturday night (Oct. 29) at Varsity Centre.

With the loss, the Blues end their 2011 campaign with a 1-7 record.

Fourth-year veteran Simon Clarke-Okah scored Toronto’s lone try of the match, with Nick Smith successfully converting for two points.

Mike Turnball led the Mustangs with 36 points from two tries and 13 converts in the win.  Rory Tomlinson also had three tries, while eight other players scored for Western.
