The Varsity Blues men’s rugby team fell 66-10 to the Brock Badgers on Saturday, October 22 at Varsity Centre.

Nick Smith accounted for both of U of T’s tries in the loss.

Reece Hummel led the Badgers with three tries for 15 points, while Brandon Marsden and Ty Riddick tallied two apiece for the visiting squad.  Matthew Alexander, Mackenzie Redgate and Jonathan Thompson added single tries in the win, while Hugh McDonnell made good on seven converts.

The Varsity Blues close out their 2011 regular season next Saturday, October 30 as they host the Western Mustangs at Varsity Centre. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
