MEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO CARABINS

The Varsity Blues men’s tennis team fell 6-1 to the Université de Montréal Carabins on Saturday, October 1 at U of T’s Scarborough Campus.

The Blues have now dropped two consecutive games to fall to 2-4 this season.

Stefan Srnic (Belgrade, Serbia) continued his strong play, defeating Marc-André Leonard in the number one slot to pick up the lone point for the Blues.

Montréal would win the next five singles matches, including straight sets victories from Rémi Trudeau and Kevin Beljaari. Montréal would also capture victories in all three doubles matches to earn a combined score of six points in the game.

The Blues return to action tomorrow as they host the Waterloo Warriors at Scarborough Campus. Game time is scheduled for 12 pm.
