BLUES FALL TO MUSTANGS

The Varsity Blues men’s rugby team battled the elements as they fell 37-11 to the first-place Western Mustangs on Saturday, October 2 in London, Ont.

David Stockton of Vancouver scored Toronto’s lone try, while fourth-year management major Alex Dwhytie (Etobicoke, Ont.) had two penalty kicks in the loss.

Jesse Kliman and Rory Tomlinson led Western with two trys apiece, while Eric Kiplimo added one penalty kick and two converts to the win.

The Varsity Blues return to action Friday, October 15 when they travel to Waterloo, Ont., to take on the Laurier Golden Hawks. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
