The Varsity Blues women’s lacrosse team handily defeated the UOIT Ridgebacks 12-1 on Sunday, October 10 in London, Ont.

Tori Wasson of Peterborough, Ont., led Toronto with three goals, while Whitby, Ont., native Kristin Smart, Breanne Gillie of Hamilton, Ont., Caitlyn McCallum (Toronto) and Susan Tung (Peterborough, Ont.) had two each. Oakville, Ont., native Jen Hall added a single tally in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to action next Sunday, October 17 as they host the Western Mustangs and Guelph Gryphons at Varsity Centre. Game times are scheduled for 1 and 5 p.m., respectively.
