BADGERS GET PAST BLUES

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s rugby team fell to the Brock Badgers 78-3 on Saturday, October 4 at the University of Toronto’s Scarborough campus field.

The Blues lone three points came off a penalty kick from Benny Mak (Hong Kong).

Rory McDonnell (Brantford, Ont.) led the Badgers with eight conversions and one try for 21 points on the day while Levon Kvas-Rothwell (St. Catharines, Ont.) added two tries and one conversion of his own for 12 points.

The Varsity Blues men’s rugby team travels to Kingston next Friday, October 10 to take on the RMC Paladins in their final game of the 2008 OUA regular season.

Toronto currently sits in fourth place in the OUA East, one point behind RMC. Game time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
