Veteran striker Alexander Raphael scored two key goals to lead the No. 6 Varsity Blues to two crucial road wins over OUA East contenders in men’s soccer action this week.

 

A native of East York, Ont., Raphael scored a beautiful goal in the 88^th minute to secure a 3-1 victory over the third-place Ryerson Rams on Wednesday night. 

 

The fifth-year political science major added some insurance in the last minute of the match versus the fourth-place Queen’s Gaels on Sunday afternoon.  Toronto’s leading scorer and 2009 OUA first team all-star, Raphael headed a throw in past Gaels goalkeeper Marshal Peacock and to solidify the 2-0 win.
