Veteran outfielder Steven Hersch batted .412 to lead the Varsity Blues baseball team to a 4-0 record this weekend, including two huge wins over the OUA defending champion Western Mustangs, to climb to the top of the standings.

The Toronto natived collected six hits, including two doubles, eight runs scored, two RBI and two stolen base in four games this weekend.

A master’s of science student, Hersh is currently ranked among the top 10 in the OUA in runs (12) and stolen bases (5).
