Backstopping the No. 1 Blues women's hockey team, Fryer was flawless in the team’s first two games back to begin the 2021-22 season restart.
 
The kinesiology major from Amherstburg, Ont., turned aside all 21 shots she faced on February 10 helping lead the Blues to a 1-0 win over the Rams. Then on February 12, Fryer again blanked the Rams making 13 saves on 13 shots in a 4-0 victory.
 
Fryer now holds a .71 goals against average in seven games, which ranks her second in the country. Her .957 save percentage also has her top five in all of U SPORTS.
