First-year outside hitter Julia Murmann shone through her OUA debut, registering 18 points and 12 digs as the Varsity Blues women’s volleyball team swept the Queen’s Gaels 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The arts & science major from Toronto racked up a .405 attack percentage on her 18 points, all coming from kills.

Murmann, who represented Canada at the NORCECA championships in Mexico and the Pan Am Cup in the Dominican Republic this past fall, currently leads the OUA, averaging 6.00 kills and points per set.
