First-year goalie Erica Fryer amassed 38 saves in leading the Varsity Blues women’s hockey team to two victories this past weekend.

Fryer posted 20 saves, including 10 in the second period, as the Blues topped the Brock Badgers 3-1 on Friday night.

The kinesiology major from Amherstburg, Ont., followed that up with an 18-save performance as the Blues defeated Laurier, 2-1, for their eighth consecutive victory. Fryer currently co-leads the OUA with nine wins and ranks third with a 1.35 goals against average.
