Fourth-year veteran Zack Chetrat won two gold medals in leading the Varsity Blues to the 2012 University Cup title on Thursday at Varsity Pool.

The Oakville, Ont., native set a new meet record in winning the 100 butterfly. Chetrat touched the wall in 53.24 seconds, a full second ahead of Alberta's Joshua Au.

The fourth-year economics and political science major also took the 400-metre freestyle title with CIS-standard time of 3:51.22. Chetrat helped U of T to claim both the men's (302 points) and overall title (598) at the 2012 event.
