Third-year striker Jack Wadden scored two goals and added one assist as the No. 8 nationally ranked University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s soccer team went 1-0-1 on the road this past weekend (Sept. 2-4).
 
Wadden had a hand in all three of Toronto’s goals. The mathematics major notched U of T’s lone marker in the 84th minute in a 1-1 draw in front of his hometown crowd at Carleton on Friday afternoon. Wadden headed in a long free kick from Kenny Lioutas to open the scoring late in the match.



 
He followed that up with one goal and one assist in Toronto’s thrilling come-from-behind victory at UOIT on Sunday. Down 1-0 in the 74th minute, Wadden netted the equalizer and went onto assist Antonio Ajhert’s game-winning goal in the 86th.
 
Wadden has at least one point in all of Toronto’s first four games as they sit tied with Ryerson atop the OUA East division with 3-0-1 records.
