Megan MacCormac, a second-year life science major, scored a team-high three goals in leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s water polo team to the NCWP championship title.
 
The native of Ottawa scored three goals in Toronto’s 12-2 victory over the McMaster Marauders in the gold-medal match. The Blues also defeated the host Queen’s Gaels 16-7 in semi-final action on Saturday.
 
MacCormac was named the NCWP most valuable player and a tournament all-star for her efforts.
