Alexander Raphael scored two huge game-winning goals as the Varsity Blues men’s soccer team went undefeated on the road this weekend, Sept. 26-27, including an upset of No. 7 Laurentian Voyageurs.

The East York, Ont. native scored the go-ahead goal in the 69th minute, solidifying a Blues come from behind 3-1 upset victory over the Voyageurs in their first game of the weekend.

The fourth-year political science student came through again for Toronto on Sunday, breaking a scoreless draw with his second game winner of the weekend as the Blues defeated the Nipissing Lakers 2-0.

Raphael’s timely performance pushes him into the top five in the OUA scoring race and puts the Varsity Blues atop the OUA East standings with a record of 4-1-2.
