Third-year standout Eli Wall won three gold and one silver medal in helping the Varsity Blues men’s swimming team to their third CIS title in four years this past weekend in Quebec.

Wall, now a two-time CIS first team all-Canadian, successfully defended both his 100 and 200 national breaststroke titles, bettering his own 100-metre record on Day 1 in a time of 1:02.43.

The genome biology major from Ottawa also claimed the silver medal in the 50 breaststroke event, and helped Toronto to a first-place finish in the 400 medley relay on Day 3.
