A third-year defender from Brussels, Lukas MacNaughton was the game’s hero as he scored off a header in the 86th minute to lead the No. 9 nationally ranked University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory over the No. 5 Ryerson Rams on Sunday afternoon.

The win clinched second place and a first round OUA playoff bye for the Blues.

The architecture major also helped Toronto to a 2-1 victory over the UOIT Ridgebacks on Wednesday night.
