Second-year striker Chelsea Cheung scored one goal and added an assist in helping the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s soccer team to a 4-2 season opening victory over the Ryerson Rams on Saturday.

Cheung scored 35 seconds into the match, sending a rocket from 25 yards out that hit the Ryerson goalkeeper and went in.

The commerce major from Stouffville, Ont., then set up Nicki Parkes with a beautiful touch off a cross for the Blues second goal of the game.
