Third-year standout David Riley won two races in leading the No. 1 University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s swimming team to victory over the No. 4 Alberta Golden Bears in dual meet action on Saturday, November 15.

A third-year life science major from Toronto, Riley won the 200 individual medley (IM) and met the CIS standard in a time of 2:02.17. That race placed him second on the university rankings behind national team member Coleman Allen.

Riley also took the top spot in the 200 freestyle (1:51.14), meeting the CIS standard, and placed second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.30.
