Third-year forward Taylor Day notched three points and added a shootout-winning goal in helping the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s hockey team to two big wins this weekend (Oct. 18-19) at home.

The Ilderton, Ont., native scored one goal as the Blues upset the No. 6 Guelph Gryphons 3-2 in a shootout on Saturday afternoon at Varsity Arena.

Day then had a hand in both of Toronto’s regulation goals, notching two assists versus Brock on Sunday. The third-year kinesiology major added the game-winner in the shootout to seal Toronto’s third-straight victory this season.
