Third-year defender Alison Lee scored five goals in leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey team to three season-opening wins this past weekend at York Stadium.

Lee opened the season in style, notching a hat trick, including the game-winner, in a 5-2 win over the Western Mustangs. The Mississauga, Ont., native and 2013 OUA all-star went onto score two goals in a 3-0 win over the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday and helped the Blues to a 6-0 shutout win over the Queen’s Gaels.

Lee’s five goals leads the province after the first week of OUA field hockey action.
