Second-year forward Alie Brind’Amour-McClure scored four goals in leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s hockey team to their first post-season wins and semi-final berth since 2008 this past week.

The Waterdown, Ont., native scored both goals in U of T’s triple overtime Game 1 win over Western on Wednesday night. Brind’Amour-McClure tied the game with 2:55 remaining in regulation with a tipped point shot, before notching the game-winner 4:12 into triple overtime.

A fifth-year French literature major, Brind’Amour-McClure also scored both goals in a narrow 3-2 Game 2 loss in London on Saturday afternoon.

She followed that up with a plus two rating and served as a crucial screen on Toronto’s game-winning goal in their Game 3 double overtime victory.

Brind’Amour-McClure leads all players in OUA post-season scoring.
