Fourth-year veteran Vanessa Treasure earned two individual and one relay gold as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s swimming team defeated the McMaster Marauders 98-69 in dual-meet action on Saturday, January 11.

The Mississauga, Ont., native broke the meet record and met CIS standard in both the 200 individual medley (2:16.44) and 100 breaststroke (1:10.58) events. Treasure’s personal best time in the 100 breaststroke also shattered Olympic silver medalist Marianne Limpert’s 24-year-old meet record (1:13.65).

A fourth-year kinesiology major, Treasure also helped U of T’s 200 medley relay team to a first-place finish in a meet record time of 1:56.19.
