Fourth-year forward Ally Evanyshyn scored six goals in leading the two-time OUA defending champion Varsity Blues field hockey team to three wins at home this weekend (Sept. 21-22).
 
A native of Burlington, Ont., Evanyshyn scored the game-winning goal, tipping an Alex Thicke shot mid air, to help the Blues defeat the Western Mustangs 3-1 on Saturday morning.
 
The physical education major added two goals in a dominant 6-0 victory over York on Saturday afternoon before notching a hat trick, including the game-winner, in another 6-0 win over McGill on Sunday.
 
Evanyshyn now leads the OUA with nine goals in five games so far this season.
