First-year midfielder Sarah Jamieson tallied 12 goals and four assists as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s lacrosse team opened their 2013 campaign with a 2-1 weekend record (Sept. 14-15).
The Etobicoke, Ont., native tallied three goals and one assists in a dominant 17-4 victory over York, and went onto notch another hat trick and assist as the Blues defeated McMaster 12-9.Â
Jamieson, a student in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education, ended the weekend with a bang, scoring six goals and adding two assists in a narrow 14-11 loss to the OUA defending champion Western Mustangs.Â
