A first-year physical therapy student, Katie Humhej pitched a perfect game in leading the Varsity Blues softball team to a 7-0 victory over the Rams on Saturday.

The Surrey, B.C., native allowed now hits or runs over five innings, striking out 11 in the process. Â She also recorded one hit, scoring once and driving in two in the victory.

The Blues are currently 8-1 and in first place in the OIWFA East division, with two weeks remaining until championship weekend.
