Third-year defensive back Trevor Harvey tallied a game and career-high 8.5 tackles, one sack and one interception as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues opened their 2013 regular season versus the Western Mustangs on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Scarborough, Ont., native opened the game with a sack on Western QB Will Finch for a loss of six yards, and went onto intercept Finch's pass and return it for 14 yards to end the first quarter.
 
He made five of his eight solo tackles on one series in the third quarter and went onto earn player of the game honours for his efforts.
