Jill Stratton recorded 31 points, 11 steals and seven assists in leading the No. 8 Varsity Blues to a 1-1 record in OUA women’s basketball action this past weekend.

The Etobicoke, Ont., native led all players with 16 points and added six steals and four assists in a 64-56 road victory over the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday night.

A physical education & health major, Stratton also tallied a game-high 15 points, five steals and three assists in a narrow 64-61 loss to the Lakehead Thunderwolves on Friday night in Thunder Bay.
