Varsity Blues women’s soccer player Eilish McConville scored two game-winning goals this weekend, including the lone goal in a 1-0 upset victory over the No. 3 Queen’s Gaels on Saturday at Varsity Centre.
 
In her first game back from injury, the fifth-year striker from Ottawa headed a corner kick past Gaels goalkeeper Chantel Marson in the 11th minute of the match versus her former team.  With the win, the Blues handed the CIS defending champion Queen’s Gaels their first loss of the season.
 
McConville was equally as impressive in Sunday’s match versus the RMC Paladins.  The second-year medical student notched what would be the game-winner in the 28th minute for her seventh goal of the season.
