Eilish McConville scored five goals and added one assist in leading the Varsity Blues to two shut out victories in OUA women’s soccer action this weekend (Sept. 10-11).
A fifth-year striker from Ottawa, McConville scored four goals, including the game-winner, as U of T blanked the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday afternoon at Varsity Centre.
She followed that up with one goal and one assist in a 2-0 victory over the first-place Laurentian Lady Vees on Sunday. McConville set up the game-winner in the 50th minute before adding an insurance marker on a penalty kick in the 74th minute.
McConville now leads the OUA in scoring with five goals in four games played.
