The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Paulina Cremonese to the women's soccer program for the 2026 season.

A 5-foot-8 defender from Richmond Hill, Cremonese joins the Blues via St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic High School and Vaughan Soccer Club.

"I chose the University of Toronto because it aligned perfectly with my academic and athletic goals," said Cremonese. "From my first campus tour in 2023, I felt an immediate connection to Rotman Commerce. That same feeling returned when I met Coach Angelo and the team. The welcoming and positive environment they created made me feel like I belonged. I am confident that this will be the place where I can become the best version of myself, both on-and-off the field!"

An outstanding athlete, Cremonese has garnered a number of accolades throughout her high school athletics career including MVP and Athlete of the Year honours. A true leader, she played a key role in three consecutive YRAA Girls Soccer Championship Final appearances, and received the Junior Leadership Award and Athletic Leadership Award for her efforts. Cremonese also showcased herself as a multi-sport athlete, competing with both the varsity cross country and varsity basketball teams.

With her club, Cremonese most recently reached the Ontario Cup semifinals this past season. She has additionally trained overseas, attending the Inter Milan Academy Experience in Milan, Italy.

An honour roll student who has received a number of Academic Achievement awards, Cremonese will begin her studies in the Rotman Commerce program in the fall.

Students who sign a letter of intent and/or commit to Varsity Blues intercollegiate teams will be eligible to play at the University of Toronto provided they are academically admissible and have applied through the normal process with the Ontario Universities Application Centre.
