The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Audrey Hofer to the women's basketball team for the 2026-27 season.

“I’m excited to continue both my athletic and academic career at U of T," said Hofer. "The coaches and players make me feel welcome and included. I look forward to being pushed to my potential throughout my time at U of T."

A 6-foot forward from Toronto, Hofer joins the Blues via Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School and Etobicoke Thunder JUEL.

A powerful player in the paint, Hofer has shown consistent improvement in her game. During her most recent season with the RedHawks, she was a force on the boards registering a team-high in rebounds in a number of games. Her dedication to improvement would earn her the Redmond RedHawks Weight Room Award.

An honour roll student in high school, Hofer is set to study Computer Science this fall at the University of Toronto.

Students who sign a letter of intent and/or commit to Varsity Blues intercollegiate teams will be eligible to play at the University of Toronto provided they are academically admissible and have applied through the normal process with the Ontario Universities Application Centre.
