The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Alexis Imutan to the women's basketball team for the 2026-27 season.

"U of T has one of the most competitive and distinguished athletic programs in the OUA, where I can see myself growing and thriving as a student-athlete with the support and encouragement of my coaches and teammates," said Imutan. "With the leadership and guidance of my coaches, I am confident I can accomplish all the goals I set for myself. U of T is also one of the top universities globally, which offers only the best academic experience, and I would be proud to represent the university as both a student and an athlete."

A 5-foot-5 guard from Milton, Imutan joins the Blues via Bishop P. F. Reding Catholic Secondary School and Halton Region JUEL.

A dynamic player with the ball and high-effort player off-ball, Imutan has achieved podiums in each of the last two seasons with her club team. She was a JUEL silver medalist in 2025 and JUEL Prep champion in 2024.

Also adept in the classroom, Imutan garnered honour roll status throughout her high school career and will study Sociology at the University of Toronto.

Students who sign a letter of intent and/or commit to Varsity Blues intercollegiate teams will be eligible to play at the University of Toronto provided they are academically admissible and have applied through the normal process with the Ontario Universities Application Centre.
