The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Matthew Felker to the men's volleyball program for the 2026-27 season.

"From the moment I had set foot on campus, entered the gym, and got to know Coach Barrett, I knew this was where I wanted to continue my academic career and play the sport I love," said Felker.

A 6-foot-5 outside hitter from Burlington, Felker joins the Blues via Assumption Catholic Secondary School and Pakmen Volleyball Club.

Felker has found success at both the provincial and national level. With Pakmen, he recently reached the U18 provincial finals, won the U17 provincial championship, and was a U17 national finalist. Additionally, he earned Team MVP honours with his high school team for the 2025-26 season.

Felker has been a consistent presence on the honour roll throughout his high school career and is set to study Life Sciences at U of T beginning this fall.

Students who sign a letter of intent and commit to Varsity Blues intercollegiate teams will be eligible to play at the University of Toronto provided they are academically admissible and have applied through the normal process with the Ontario Universities Application Centre.
