The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Andrew Dangelas to the men's basketball program for the 2026-27 season.

 A 6-foot point guard from Montreal, Dangelas joins the Blues via Collège Notre-Dame and Helisis.

With an ability to create offence himself while also serving as a facilitator, Dangelas was most recently named 2025-26 MVP of the Prep U Canada League while playing with Helisis. Additionally, he attended NBA Academy Games in 2023.

"I chose U of T because of my relationship with the coaching staff and I believe this is one of the best programs in the country," said Dangelas.

Dangelas will study within the Faculty of Arts & Science at U of T beginning this coming September.

Students who sign a letter of intent and/or commit to Varsity Blues intercollegiate teams will be eligible to play at the University of Toronto provided they are academically admissible and have applied through the normal process with the Ontario Universities Application Centre.
