Mack Chapman joined the Varsity Blues this past June after four years serving as Recruiting Coordinator at York, where he also served as interim Special Teams Coordinator in 2021. He was instrumental in the Lions turnaround from 2023 to 2024, which produced the largest positive point differential change in U SPORTS football history. Along with his role with Toronto, Mack serves as Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator for the North Toronto Sentinels U16 team, with prior coaching stops at the York Region Lions, Ottawa-Myers Riders, and West Carleton Wolverines. As a player, he suited up at York and with the CJFL’s Ottawa Sooners as a defensive lineman, linebacker, and long snapper.
