A proud University of Toronto alumnus, Lawrence brings deep roots in the Toronto football community as both a player and coach. His playing career began locally at Richview Collegiate Institute and with the Etobicoke Eagles before competing in the OUA for the Varsity Blues from 2011 to 2015. He then coached with the Metro Toronto Wildcats, returned to coach at U of T from 2016 to 2018, and spent several seasons developing grassroots talent with the Toronto Jr. Argos from 2017 to 2023. Scouting for the Varsity Blues since 2025, Lawrence leverages his extensive experience across the GTA to identify prospective talent and guide student-athletes to the next level.
