Ozzie Blackett joined the Varsity Blues in 2009 with over 15 years of coaching experience under his belt.

Blackett was the running backs coach, offensive coordinator and head coach during his nine years with the Brampton Bulldogs of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL). He then took his post at Notre Dame Secondary School in Brampton, Ont., where he has been coaching since 2002. During that time, Notre Dame has won four Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA) championships. 

Ozzie is currently the vice-president of football operations for Hardcore Football Academy, a non-profit organization dedicated to training student-athletes to become better football players.
