Joe D'Amore

Joe D'Amore became the Blues offensive on January 10, 2022.

D'Amore came to the Blues with over 15 years of coaching experience, having worked most recently as the offensive coordinator for the Essex Ravens of the Ontario Summer Football League (OSFL).

As the head coach of the Windsor Lancers from 2011-18, he led the team to four consecutive playoff appearances from 2011-14.  

As a three-year captain of the football team, he started all 40 games he played as a wide receiver for the Lancers from 1996-2000.

While coaching in Windsor, D'Amore had several stints on various provincial and national coaching staffs. Most notably as the offensive coordinator for the 2016 U18 national team that won gold at the IFAF world championship in Harbin, China.

Head Coach of University of Windsor from 2011-2018.
Named OUA "Tuffy Knight" coach of the year in 2011.
Lead the Lancers to four straight playoff appearances.
Offensive coordinator for U18 national team in 2016 - won the gold medal in Harbin, China against the USA.
