Greg Quick - Linebacker Coach, CFL
Greg Quick served as the Toronto Argonauts Linebacker Coach in 2018 after serving in the same capacity for the team in 2010 and 2011. GQ has nearly four decades on the sidelines including high school, university and professional football. He has sixteen years as university head coach in addition to coordinating both sides of the ball and tutoring linebackers to quarterbacks and everything in between.
Before joining the Argos, Coach Quick was Linebackers Coach for the Montreal Alouettes in 2017 and 2016, as well as in 2014. In 2014 and 2016, he coached current Argos linebacker Bear Woods who earned the nod as the East Division’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player both seasons. Greg served as Defensive Coordinator for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2015 and under GQ’s tutelage, rookie linebacker Jeff Knox Jr. set a franchise record for tackles. In 2010 with Coach Quick as Linebacker coach, the Argos advanced to the East finals with two Canadian’s starting at linebacker, Kevin Eiben and Jason Pottinger, who combined for 160 regular season defensive tackles.
