High School: Won the St. Thomas Moore award and the Fr. Roy exit scholarship...was a Varsity captain at SMC and won the lineman of the year award in 2012-13.

2016: Dressed and started all eight games...participated in the 2017 U SPORTS East West Bowl.

Personal: Brother, Nolan MacMillan, played football for the Iowa Hawkeyes and is a member of the Ottawa REDBLACKS...Sam volunteers as a coach of the U of T women's flag football team.
