Biography

High School: Was class valedictorian in 2010...named the rookie of the year in 2009 and the defensive player of the year in 2010...received the Dan Marouelli hockey scholarship in 2010.

Varsity:

2015: Dressed for four games...recorded 9.5 tackles.

2014: Dressed for three games...recorded 6.5 tackles. 

2013: Dressed for three games before being sidelined due to injury...recorded 14.5 tackles...recorded a season-high 5.5 tackles vs Western (Aug. 25) and at Ottawa (Sept. 7). 

2012: Dressed for seven games...ranked second on the team with 29 solo tackles...also recorded one interception, one break up and two fumble recoveries...recorded a season-high seven tackles at Western on Sept. 8.

Personal: John was one of 10 students chosen to participate in a mission to build a school in a rural community in Ecuador.
