Biography

High School: Named the defensive player of the year in 2015 and 2016. 

Varsity: 

2022: Dressed for 3 regular season games and 1 playoff game... recorded 12.5 tackles with1 tackle for loss and 2 breakups during the regular season... added 1 tackle in the postseason.

2021: Dressed and started all six regular season games and one playoff game... registered 14 regular season tackles and five pass break-ups... recorded a career-high 5.5-tackles at Guelph on Oct. 23.

2019: Dressed and started in all eight games...recorded 21 tackles...notched a season-high four tackles in three games...added one interception for a 25-yard touchdown at Laurier on Sept. 7...also had two breakups. 

2018: Dressed in six games, starting in one… recorded 10.5 tackles, one break up and one interception… had a career-high five tackles vs. Queen’s and added his first career interception that he returned 64 yards for the touchdown.

2017: Dressed for two games.

Personal: Great grandfather, Roy Cumber Nurse, won a gold medal in rowing for Canada at the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris.
