Recent University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball graduate Inaki Alvarez has signed a pro contract with the newly founded El Club Baloncesto Toledo of the Segunda FEB third division in his home country of Spain.
 
Alvarez played five seasons for the Blues between 2018-25, earning OUA all-rookie honours in 2018-19. This past season, he led U of T and ranked 10th in the province with 17.2 point per game. Alvarez is one of only 11 players in Varsity Blues men's basketball history to reach 1,000 career points.
