The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's lacrosse team dropped a narrow 7-6 decision to the Nipissing Lakers on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 15) in North Bay, Ont.
 
Down 4-1 at halftime, the Blues stormed back as Graham Dicken scored twice and Alexander May and Kevin Yan added singles to even the game at 5-5 heading into the final quarter.
 
The Lakers scored with 11 minutes remaining, but Daniel Clarke tied it back up four minutes later. Unfortunately for the Blues, Nipissing's Myles Shorey netted what would stand as the game-winner with 5:37 to go in the game.
 
The Blues are back in action this Wednesday, September 18 when they head to Hamilton, Ont., to take on the McMaster Marauders. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
