BLUES SEVENTH AT 8-KAY MARAUDER INVITATIONAL

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's and women's cross country teams finished seventh at the 8-Kay Marauder Invitational at Kay Drage Park in Hamilton, Ontario, on October 11, 2024.

On the women's side, Julia Agostinelli led the way with a 5th place finish and a time of 28:57.6. Liana De Medeiros crossed the line in 31st place at 31:02.9, with Sarah White (31:48.7), Samantha Macdonald (31:51.8), and Avery Murrell (32:04.6) rounding out the top five. Other notable finishes included Joud Dabbous in 68th (32:37.8) and Catherine Rodriguez in 74th (32:57.6).

The Blues men were led by Adam Pralat, who finished 52nd with a time of 26:58.9. Jacob McLean followed closely in 53rd at 27:01.1, and Sho Adachi was next with a time of 27:05.2, securing 63rd place. Oliver Tagalog and Jabez Siu both finished in 79th place at 27:12.0. Chris Stamadianos (27:12.6) and Anton Mlynczyk (27:37.5) placed 79th and 82nd, respectively, while Nathan Bergman and Scott Garrett rounded out the team with times of 27:44.3 and 28:17.9. In total, the Blues men placed 10 athletes in the event

The Blues are back in action on October 26th in the OUA Championship to be hosted by Nipissing University at Osprey Links Golf Course.
